Following their initial success, BTS pivoted to a high-energy promotional cycle for their track "Dope (쩔어)." The accompanying music video, released on June 24, showcased the group's versatility; each member portrayed a different professional persona—ranging from police officers to office workers—while executing intricate, high-speed choreography.

Key Milestones and Production

Choreography: Created by the renowned Keone Madrid.

Direction: Produced and directed by the creative studio GDW.

Promotions: Kicked off on M Countdown (June 25) and wrapped up on Inkigayo (July 5).

Why It Mattered

"Dope" served as a massive turning point for the group's global presence. It sparked a wave of international interest through YouTube reaction videos—most notably from the Fine Brothers—which helped propel the video to over 100 million views.
